Because I had a metaphysical rock shop for 13 years, I had some really interesting metaphysical experiences there and the following is one of the trippy ones.
One day I was sitting in the shop. It was kind of slow and I felt kind of sleepy. Suddenly there was an old man there. I knew right away he wasn't in the physical, but he still had something to share with me. He told me he was a Northern Paiute from the region of Oregon/Idaho. He asked me if I would be willing to look through his eyes because there was something he wanted me to see.
I was willing and so "his eyes open" and I am looking at a dusty street. I feel like I have my back against a wall, and I am just watching. It is a town but from the frontier days. There are wooden sidewalks and horses tied up to hitching posts. There are several Paiute Braves on the other side of the street. We are just watching them. They are laughing and having fun. Then this wagon rolls up. There is a big white guy with a beard, and he has a whip and he whips his horses to get them to mind. The Braves react because they don't like how he treats his horses. The man brings the wagon to a stop, jumps out and goes to the back of the wagon where a bunch of whiskey barrels are tied in. He speaks to them and asks the young men to help him get one of the whiskey barrels out, though reluctant and still upset about the way the man treated his horses, they agree to help.
Afterwards the Whiskey Trader opens the barrel and offers each of the men some whiskey. I am watching through the old man's eyes and all of a sudden, I see what looks like neck manacles appear on the men who drank the whiskey. Not only can I see through the old man's eyes, but I also feel his agitation. The next thing the whiskey trader did was give each of the men a bottle of whiskey. The old man was really upset about what happened next.
The whiskey trader took out another whip, but I get the sense it was energetic, because when he flicked it, the young men responded as one, and each took a big swig out of their whiskey bottles. The old man went onto explain to me that the Whiskey created a block of sorts in the men's energy fields The blocks created an unbreachable separation and division between their hearts and their minds. He said the whiskey trader was a black shaman who could manipulate those who drank, especially those who became addicted.
He kept flicking his whip and shortly out of a nearby saloon came a cowboy. The cowboy also had a manacle around his neck. Words were exchanged between the cowboy and the braves and soon there was a big fight. The braves were rounded up, put in real physical manacles, and were led off.
What the old man told me is that the Native Americans and the settlers and soldiers, who drank a lot of whisky, were enslaved by the whisky trader and because they weren't in their hearts, they were pitted against each other until, enough conflicts were created and lives were lost. As a result there was a push to round up the People up and take them to reservations.
He then told me that one of the roles of men is to protect the women, children, and elders but because they were 'enslaved by drink” their heads disconnected from their hearts. He also said they were "powerless" and disconnected from their souls and the knowing of what the right thing to do was.
He then showed me a picture of his whole tribe being rounded up and marched off to the reservation. The men, who in earlier days maybe would have put a stop to it or at least fought it, where all manacled and controlled by the whiskey trader. Some of the soldiers, who under normal circumstances, would never have treated another human being so inhumanely did the bidding of the U.S. government because they weren't in their hearts and they weren't in their right mind.
He also expressed concern that a lot of the soldiers were damaged by the war where brother fought brother. He explained the damage from trauma made them more susceptible to the Whisky and the Whisky Trader
He told me that because of the control that the Whisky and Whisky trader had over these men, they were ripe for possession. He then proceeded to show me how to smoke for the ghost points. As a practitioner of acupressure, I have been aware of the ghost points, but what the Elder told me is that it is those specific points, and a few others, that allow the Spirit of Alcohol, Drugs and other spirits to possess humans.
He showed me how to protect myself and remove the "Hungry Ghosts" that feed on those whose will have been bound by the Spirit of Addiction.
I have only smoked the ghost points a few times, but as things unravel, the old man said there would be more of a need to smoke the ghost points and release the manacle that keeps a man's heart and mind separate.
I have worked with a few women, and it seems like the Spirit of Addiction attaches to different ghost points. It seems to me like the attachments are almost like a corset, that binds the rib cage, the breasts and the heart and lungs. The old man told me that it keeps the women from seeing what is happening, they shut their hearts down and their auras become very weak, so they are more susceptible to being victimized,
At this time, the modern-day whisky traders are those who are greedy in their lust for making money off of alcohol, marijuana, opioids, gambling, oil and pornography and war. They aren't all as conscious as the whisky trader in the story, but they are being used by dark shamans.
I know this story may not be true, but it is definitely symbolic and is a good reminder to self-reflect on seeing if you are being bound by your addictions and under the control of modern-day whisky traders.
